Over 250 teachers, parents, and students gathered to The FIRST® LEGO® League Discover season 2023-24, celebrating the remarkable STEAM learning journey of young minds.
The GBA Artificial Intelligence Technology Innovation Competition 2023-24 concluded its primary and secondary school division successfully from 19th to 20th July.
FIRST® LEGO® League 2023-2024 lit up the stage as it held its much-anticipated Hong Kong regional finals for the primary and secondary school divisions on July 5th and 6th!
Additionally, in the 2023/24 academic year, the OGCIO introduced the ‘IT Innovation Lab in Secondary School’ program, which spans three academic years. The goal is to deepen students’ understanding of cutting-edge information technology, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, and big data. The program aims to establish a strong foundation in information technology for young people during their secondary school years.
The micro:bit Model Hovercraft Competition 2023-2024 was successfully held on June 1, 2024, featuring the participation of approximately 50 teams from primary and secondary schools across Hong Kong. These talented students demonstrated their creativity and skills by constructing innovative hovercraft models and engaging in three exciting competition challenges.
The exhilarating atmosphere of the FIRST® LEGO® League Explore 2023-24 filled the air as 40 enthusiastic teams gathered to showcase their ingenuity and problem-solving skills.

The participating teams for this year's competition are required to create A.I. projects related the theme of Smart Living.
In addition to having a good understanding of STEAM knowledge related to hovercraft, the 70 participating teams also needed to possess the necessary soft skills for the competition.

FLL 2022-23 attracted a record-breaking 85 schools and nearly 150 teams from around the city, represents the largest of its kind in the region following the global pandemic.
The competition was successfully held at CCC Heep Woh Primary School (Cheung Sha Wan). About 30 teams participated in the competition, which was divided into three exciting challenges!

Trumptech hosted another unmissable STEAM competition for Hong Kong schools! Over 50 teams from 9 primary schools and 22 secondary schools participated in the first-ever micro:bit Model Hovercraft Competition. The teams had to design and build their own all-encompassing Hovercraft, program it and remote control it in order to complete the three challenges.
The micro:bit Model Rocket Car Competition,the renowned STEAM event has come to a fabulous close this year! Over 1,500 students and nearly 500 teams from 17 primary schools and 48 secondary schools have participated in this year's competition despite the pandemic Indeed, no force was big enough to distract our students’ aspirations to learn and innovate, and ours to push for an ever exciting educational programme.
The competition aims to motivate students to learn to code and to brush up their computational thinking through the CodeN'Sim Online Coding platform and O2O coding challenges.
