Trumptech joins hands with CodeN'Sim Academy to promote STEAM and AI education in Hong Kong

Technology is going to play a significant role in the future society. How should our children equip themselves for an ever-changing digital future?
Technology rapidly diffuses into our society, economy, and daily life. As the catalytic driver for social changes and economic competitiveness, its growth implies a rocketing demand for IT talents to cope with the future.

Nurturing local talents in the field of STEAM and AI to keep up the city’s competitiveness has become one of the primary goals of the HKSAR. Various strategic curriculum guidelines and school fundings like the OGCIO’s “IT Innovation Lab in Schools” and “Knowing More About IT Programme” have been released to embody the vision. The forthcoming rising awareness for STEAM education hardware, programmes or exposures, in-school or outside, have both blossomed into an ecosystem for its provision. Parents respond to the trend with much enthusiasm and eagerness to sign their children up for technology and coding classes, on one hand, to develop their creativity, and collaborative and problem-solving skills which are essential to staying future proof, and on the other to strengthen their children’s portfolio with STEAM achievement in hope of better academic progression.

Working with industry players to popularise AI learning
In face of the thriving STEM-ed market, Trumptech in hand with CodeN’Sim Academy and AI industry giant SenseTime Technology aims to fill the gap by innovating in STEAM and AI learning and teaching and creating a comprehensive learning roadmap, thus progressively guiding students from building a solid coding foundation to advanced AI application. Proudly presenting Hong Kong’s first AI certificate course recognised by SenseTime Technology CodeN’Sim Academy offers various learning activities including workshops, boot camps, certificate courses, visite and exchanges including the first-ever AI course in Hong Kong which is certified by the AI industry giant, SenseTime. The programme not only enriches students’ portfolios and lets them gain a great advantage in future studies and employment but also gives them a head start in entering the AI industry.

CodeN’Sim Academy also aspires to lower the threshold of AI learning and increase students’ learning motivation via clean delivery and interactive content. Primary school students from the age of 9 can now engage in acquiring AI knowledge and application with block-based programming language. This flagship course is also included in the HKEdCity Go AI Programme, benchmarking the development of AI education across primary and secondary schools.
