Stay inspired at the FIRST® LEGO® League Explore Carnival 2023!

On July 15, 2023, the FIRST® LEGO® League Explore Carnival was held with great success. Filled with laughter and memories, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners and teams for their full engagement. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Sun Hoi Directors' College for providing the venue, creating an arena where ideas and creativity could come together!

FIRST® LEGO® League Explore aims at encouraging students aged 6 to 10 to engage in the learning of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through theme-based project research, model design, and sharing activities.

The theme for this season was "SUPERPOWERED". Participants were required to propose innovative solutions to improve energy-related issues within their communities. Throughout the process, they learned about energy sources, storage, transportation, and consumption, honing their creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Unleashing Creativity!

Teams set up their own dedicated spaces, brimming with colorful models, posters, and other presentations props!

All teams are required to present to the judging panels, introducing their solutions through mini-theatres, interactions, and exhibits!

Judges shared feedback on the spot, appreciating and encouraging the students!

Students bravely stepped forward to share about their creations! 

Fun Activities to Encourage Student Interaction!

Students conducted interviews and documented their experiences through activity booklets, receiving small gifts upon completion!

A vibrant painting room! Unleashing their inner artist! They added colors and decorations to the drawing board of next year's theme, MASTERPIECE!

A professional painter sprayed unique LEGO patterns for the students! 

Teams brought small gifts to share with other teams and invited them to their booth!
